Dr Rajat Chauhan has spent over two decades as Running Coach & administrator. He has been a passionate runner. He has accomplished following as a runner:

  • Runner: 25 years of running experience
  • Bangalore Ultra Marathon 2008: assisted Santhosh in setting Indian 24 hr run record of 156 km. I d did 106 km
  • Rajasthan Desert Run 2008: 4 marathons in 5 consecutive days (179km)
  • Bangalore Ultra Marathon 2007: 100 km in 11 hr 25 min
  • Run October Run: Ran a Half Marathon every day for whole of the month in October 2007. The idea was to take running to the common man. Had more than 100 different people running with me at various stages. Ran 3-4 days a week in Bangalore, 3-4 days a week in Delhi and twice in Mumbai
  • Paris to London: 8 consecutive marathons in 8 days (retired hurt after 5 days, maximum distance in one day was 65 km, min being 42 km)
  • Participated in 33 official marathons (>100 in practice)
  • Personal Best (PB): 100 km in 11 hr 25 min (fastest Indian for 100 km)
  • PB: Half marathon: 1 hr 18 min (at 17 years of age with aim to go to Olympics
  • PB: Full Marathon: 2 hr 38 min (at 17 years of age, in a practice run)

When I run, specially during winter, I develop pain in my chest nipples. If I continue, it sometimes becomes a wound also (perhaps due to jerks or due to friction with T-shirt). I have to discontinue for 1/2 days. Please advise how can I tackle with this
