Having run the last ADHM, this year (2009) I wanted to improve timings. Somehow did not get a clean stretch of practice. resorting to old techniqie, I did Power Practice and consequently, damaged my left shin with about 3 weeks to go. I resorted to breaks in prac to ensure leg does not give in. On the Marathon day I was pretty fit till 10 km mark. Thereafter the shin started troubling. I overcame the pain barrier and comleted the run. But then my shin has gone really bad...Almost a week on I am unable to walk without support. So take care with your practices. |
