Dear Sir ,
I have seen many runners use knee caps even if it is niggling knee pain and it becomes more of a habit to run with the knee caps "on". Is it advisable to run with Knee caps for long-distances or detrimental in the long run ? Does prolonged use change the running style and effect running efficiency?
I would be grateful to hear your comments/advise on this .

Knee caps are not advisable in the long run. Its better to address the problem naturally by making your muscle balance correct. This should involve strengthening and stretching of muscles.
