Actually, i've participated in few 100m races at my school and college level & that wasn't bad at all for me, but i've never attempt any long race or marathon etc, even though I ran 5kms when my friend challenged me for the same.
that's why,,, i would like to know-"how long should i run in marathon?"
Ravi, I would suggest stick with 7km Great Delhi run. Running should be for life and not for one single event and then hurting yourself permanently. Confidence cannot replace training, which you don't have right now.
Plan should be enjoy what you do.

Hi Ravi , what i suggest run for Great Delhi Run which 7kms .. start training yourself and if you are confident run for 21km.. i think you can do it NOV 1st is 1 month 13days away.
