I have never run before in any marathon but am very interested in participating this time nevertheless. Though, I will be running 7 KM this year and half marathon next year .. For preparation I am running 10 KM on treadmill everyday and I take 50 to 55 min to cover this distance. Is it necessary for me to run on road or track to prepare for the race. I plan to increase my stamina by running 10 KM everyday till half a month of October and then raise it to 15 KM everyday. Any suggestions ?? .. I have some problems like how to deal with heat while running and dehydration ....

Rahul good that u have over practiced on your treadmill.. But if you want to have the final day touch then run atleast 3 times on road and make sure u just complete the actual distance required. On a road u will measure the real timing..
