This Q is for runners who have run both the above mentioned Half Marathons .

Is ADHM tougher or easier than SCMM ? Regarding race organisation etc. - I know it is hard to choose between the two.

I kindly seek your opinion on the same .

The difficult climatic conditions of Mumbai, ie Hot and Humid, makes SCMM half marathon more difficult than ADHM, as Delhi, by November, is cool and absolute delight for running.

Have run ADHM2 times and SCMHM 1 time.Frankly both were as good or bad, felt I was ready to die at the end ;)

Jokes apart, the SCMHM is tougher since the run over Kemp's corner flyover is tough and then the grade up Peddar road is a real killer especially since you do it on the way back (around the 14th kmif memory serves me right).

Have signed up for the full marathon at mumbai this year.If I survive I willlet you know how it was :)

I did the ADHM last year (my first) and thereafter the SCMM full marathon.

I found the ADHM slightly less motivating - lesser crowds to cheer you on... in comparison, SCMM was a dream.

Having said that, I found the running conditions in Delhi much better than in Mumbai, where it was hot and humid. Now, if only I could get the Mumbai crowds at ADHM...

And Sandeep, I look forward to seeing you at the Mumbai Marathon too... I'm in it for the long haul again this year.
