Registrations pouring in from around the world for the Delhi Half Marathon despite the city’s pollution and Coronavirus cases

Celebrated runners from around the world, including hundreds of other participants, have signed up for the Delhi Half Marathon. Currently, the capital’s Coronavirus cases are at an all-time high and the pollution level is toxic.

Yalemzerf Yahualaw, the eminent runner from Ethiopia who recently won a Bronze at the women’s World Athletics Half Marathon in Poland, will also be running in the marathon on November 29, 2020. Besides, the duo from the same country, Tsehay Gemechu and Andamlak Belihu are going to defend their third successive win at the event. The runners will choose their preferred category as well as the routes they want to run on with the help of a mobile app.
