One of the most-wanted criminals turns a marathon runner

5 years ago, then a 39-year-young underworld criminal and a hitman Rahul Bhiku Jadhav was serving his term at the Muktangan Rehabilitation Centre, in Pune. He was also grappling to defeat his addiction to alcohol and drugs. He was recommended to channelize his energies towards something worthwhile. Upon this recommendation, Rahul replied running in no time and there has been no looking back ever since then. With the counselor’s help, he participated in a 10-km marathon in Pune and ended up finishing the run in 55 minutes. He experienced a sense of achievement and went on to run from Mumbai to India Gate four years later. Currently, he is an avid marathon runner with a way more promising future lying ahead of him.
