Los Angeles Marathon gets delayed again due to coronavirus issues

It’s the second time that the Los Angeles Marathon has been delayed. This happened due to the fear lingering over the world because of Coronavirus. The yearly run was supposed to be held on March 21. But, in November, it was rescheduled to May 23 with support and approval from relevant authorities and healthcare professionals. However, due to the vulnerabilities that this pandemic continues to pose, the marathon has been postponed yet again. It is likely to be held in one of the last months of the year.

One of the organizers informed, “Given the current state of the pandemic in the Los Angeles area and the pace of the vaccine roll-out, the Rose Bowl Half Marathon and 5K, the LA Big 5K and the Los Angeles Marathon presented by ASICS will be rescheduled for the fall 2021.”
